Hello, my name is
Nick is a senior studying mechanical engineering at Pennsylvania State University. He is working with Dr. Amrita Basak to study additive manufacturing on concave surfaces and metal fatigue failure. He has completed two internships thus far, serving as an Auxiliary Systems Engineering Intern at Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and as a Product Definition Intern at Dassault Systèmes (DS). Additionally, he has participated as an undergraduate lab researcher at the High Pressure Combustion Lab with Dr. Eric Boyer and Dr. Richard Yetter. Furthermore, he is the first undergraduate student at Pennsylvania State University who has obtained the Certified SOLIDWORKS Expert certification. Outside of classes, he is an active member of several clubs on campus, including the 3D Printing Club, Blue & White Society, and Digi Digits. Moreover, he is a member of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP). Lastly, he serves as a lead engineering design teaching assistant under Dr. Sarah Ritter at the School of Engineering Design, Technology, and Professional Programs.
